Kilning timber is far from an exact science and takes years of experience to perfect. We have been vacuum kiln drying at our site in Claybrooke Magna since 1984. Vacuum kiln drying ensures stability and maximises the natural strength and resistance of timber as well as reducing the likelihood of drying defects such as checking and cracking.

As well as kiln drying our own stock, we are also happy to kiln dry timber for our customers.

Working closely with partners across several continents, we can offer a variety of responsibly sourced timber species and ensure that they will be available for many generations to come.Our vast stock holdings include UK grown species as well as imported timbers from North America, Europe and Africa. We keep Kiln and Air dried timber on the ground and convert green timber from log to order.

Our experienced machinists and state of the art equipment allow us to offer a reliable machining service which is completely controlled in house. Our in-house services include sawing to size, machining to profiles, precision drilling and CNC work.
