European Oak Spindles

We stock a range of oak spindles that have been planned all-round on-site by our experts. We sell our oak spindles individually and in packs of 20, so that you can get the exact amount you need for your project, with no wasted expense.

The most popular use for both our oak spindles and those produced from our other hardwoods is for turning stair spindles, but they can also be used in the construction of other unique products, for example, candlesticks.

Why Oak Spindles?

Our prime oak spindles are made from the finest European oak. Once turned, oak spindles can be painted, varnished or waxed. Because of their versatility, oak spindles will look perfectly at home on any staircase. The combination of timeless aesthetics and durable hardwood construction means that unlike cheaper alternatives, oak spindles will last for several lifetimes.

Oak is a very distinctive and strong hardwood, but we can also produce spindles in other woods should you require. Get in touch with us for more information. If you are renovating or fitting a staircase, we also manufacture newel posts and laminated stringer sections to order.

You may also be interested in our hardwood handrails, a range of which are available to buy online, and the other woodturning supplies that we stock.
